Lights

The darkness and rains beautifully enhance the winter lights draped among the bare trees of the city. Every year there seems to be more of them, helping to ease us through the season, especially as the snows, with their soft white glow, come less and less frequently.

Such an excellent site. I will be visitng Reykjavik in April 08. Your tips for visitors are so interesting and helpful. Are there any live music venues for folk music in Reykjavik? Also how would I greet an Icelander eg "Good day"? And how would I say "please" and "thank you" in Icelandic? just a matter of respect really.
