Presence

It's rare that I post a photo taken by someone else, but this image must be shared.

Everything is changing. The heart of our island is pulsing, throbs exposed for all to see, releasing a nature we've not witnessed for aeons. And we're to let our own hearts beat in time, push past the fear, find the Love we've forgotten or neglected, welcome the spirits, and dance. This is Paradise, and a most beautiful moment to be alive.

You always post the most beautiful things. Images and words.

Thank you for this post, reflecting the fiery spirit of the revered Hawaiin goddess of the volcano Ka-'ula-o-ke-ahi (meaning redness of fire), who might appear as a tall young woman, a wrinkled old woman with a white dog, or when enraged, as pure flame.

Our middle earth daemons seem to have settled back down for a while, and we haven't seem any new photos like this one for a week or so (there were at least three or four that had very clear faces in them, made by the lightening and smoke.) I kind of miss them...
