Faxaflói - Reykjavík's Grand Bay

A young tourist couple sat at the edge of Faxaflói Bay last Sunday evening enjoying the 9 pm sunshine and a good view of Paul Allen's yacht, Octopus which anchored in the waters off of Reykjavik for a week-long treasure hunt (read more here.)

And speaking of big boats, could data ships be a potentially viable concept here as they are in San Francisco Bay? We've got the energy...

This picture of the bay cooled my entire body when I saw it. I'm not one to complain about the heat. I love it. But the temperature has been around 100 F here in Kansas for the last week. I can feel the sea breeze from your picture.

I also learned a great deal. Hadn't heard of data ships. Despite our failings, the human race can be a clever lot, sometimes.

Beautiful scenery! Although, in my humble opinion, it would be more serene if Allen's toy was not in the foreground.
