Abandoned at Heiðmörk

Out in the wilderness of Heiðmörk, a park once out in the countryside outside of Reykjavik and now just skirting the newest suburban developments, Valentina and I spotted this poor left-behind suitcase propped nicely up against a bent old sign. You've just got to wonder...

So that's where the airline misplaced my luggage...could you please mail it back?

If the suitcase would have been left behind here in Frankfurt, e.g. at the main station or at the airport, the whole building would have been evacuated for hours - for fear of a bomb hidden in the suitcase. We have that kind of wrong false alarm several times a month...

Both of your comments are perfect...Kurt's for the humor and Thilde's for the more serious side of lost luggage.
