This full harvest moon was accompanied last night by an "unusually bright" shooting star that lit up the midnight skies over southwestern Iceland last night. Here you can see it for yourselves.

Recently a friend lend me a telescope to watch the moon. Unfortunately it's been snowing since, no moon in Olafsvik yet.

Which proves that 中秋節, the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, which is observed when the moon is full in October, can be celebrated even in Iceland.
Btw, passed 10 000 meters above Iceland on my way to Sweden on Monday.
